Each piece is handmade, specifically wheel thrown or created by slab, by Wally Schwab. The materials are porcelain and stoneware, all high fired with non-toxic ceramic glazes. Expect subtle variations in the forms and surfaces, as these are inherent in this process and gives each piece its own unique beauty.
All ceramics are food-safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. However, hand-washing is suggested as a means of taking greater care. Warm water and soap should be adequate for cleaning. Baking dishes are oven safe however they MUST be preheated with you oven when cooking. NEVER place a ceramic piece you plan to cook in, directly into a hot oven, it will break.
Returns:
Items in the online shop may be returned for store credit or exchange within one week of receipt. No refunds will be issued. The work must be unused and in the same condition received. Please email WallySchwab1@gmail.com to arrange a return or exchange. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Insurance on return shipping is required.
It is unlikely that pieces sent out will be damaged in shipping, but if you do receive damaged work, contact me within 2 days. Please document the condition of the box and the packaging, so that I may use it for the insurance claim. I take great care in packing and shipping.
